The clock surmounted by gilt bronze and marble foliate urn, ribbons swirling downward to double-scrolled armature housing partial skeleton clock mechanism, columns inset with putti caryatids, lower frieze inset with painted plaque depicting jovial putti among birds, raised on gilt bronze scrolled foliate feet.
Dome measures approximately 26-1/4 x 19-1/2 x 8-1/4 in.
Dust cover missing to reverse, some scuffing and fleabiting to marble, some light chips to lowest plinth, chip to plinth corner above plaque, some rubbing and wear to gilding, some breaks/repairs/losses/bending to ribboning near urn finial, flaking to base of glass dome, with wear commensurate with age and use. Lot includes pendulum and key. Heritage does not guarantee the working order or completeness of clock mechanisms.
