This print shows a river scene, with herons noted in the marsh, and a ferryman poling his boat. There are people on a walking bridge, all lit by lantern light, a very quieting scene. This print was published by Watanabe Publishers in 1936, and is shown in the 1936 Watanabe Catalog, #511. It is sealed 'Hiroaki', and guaranteed to be an authentic Shotei woodblock print. It measures 9.75" high by 7" wide, and is tipped in its original matte, which measures 12.5" high by 9" wide.
