This is the University of California Press 1972 hardcover publication of "Fables of Man", a collection of Mark Twain essays, edited by John Tuckey. This is in its original dust jacket, which has shallow edge wear and scuffs, but which is in good overall condition. The cover is clean and unfaded, with shallow bumps to its outside corners, but no tears or notable stains. The spine is straight and securely connected. The only two notable flaws to the inside are foxed spots to the top page edges and light stains to the top gutter area of the title spread (see photo). The page faces are otherwise clean throughout. The binding is tight, with no loose or missing pages. There are no page tears and no notable creases. There are no stamps or other attachments. I've found no writing. The accompanying photos, of this copy, are accurate reflections of the book conditions. International bidder should note this would be sent priority insured, with a shipping charge of $65.00.
