To the unaided eye, this piece appears to be in good condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals two areas with potential in painting. These are located throughout the leftmost leg of the central horse and thoughout the legs of the rightmost figure. There is minimal craquelure developing in the upper left quadrant of the piece. The piece is framed in a pale antiqued gold panel frame. The frame is in good condition with minor abrasions throughout.
