It measures 12 ½ inches by 9 ¼ inches (folded). There are no tears, and the printing is still very bold both inside and out.-- Friday June 23rd, 1939 Glen Island Casino Menu featuring Glen Miller and his Orchestra: This was the “specials” menu and measures 12 ½ inches by 7 inches. It is in very fine condition with the only issue being the crease from being folded in half. Specials included Broiled Whole Main Lobster for $2.50, or Roast Prime Ribs of Beef with Pan Gravy for $2.00 – and yes that included an appetizer, salad, potato, and desert.-- Minimum Charge Card:This card is in excellent condition and measures 5 inches by 3 inches. These cards were placed on each table at Glenn Island Casino to let guests know that even though there was no cover charge – there was a minimum. On the inside of the card Glenn Miller signed his name in wax pencil. The signature is authentic, bold, and a fine example.
