Lot 0205
Pair of Chinese famille rose porcelain temple jars. Finely potted of tall ovoid body, with rounded shoulder gently waisted toward low waisted neck and wide opening rim, domed lid with simply bud finial, raised on countersunk flat base. The exterior delicately decorated with famille rose polychrome hand painting of waterside landscape scene. Bordered with colorful rococo floral patterns under the rim and lid against pink underglaze ground and repeated lappets above the feet.


Mark on base, a six underglaze blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
