18th Century Chinese Qing Dynasty gilt bronze moon flask, repoussed in form of a compressed round body, elevating straight cylindrical neck leading toward banded rim, and raised on a splayed rectangular foot base. Two rings banded on neck. Two scrolling foliate motif handles flanked on the shoulder. The exterior carved with centralized uptala, the night lotus bloom, interspersed by rococo tendrils entwined over geometrical lattice pattern in relief. Extensive trace of gilt.

PROVENANCE: From New York Estate Sales and Auctions Near The Hudson, 1928. The same collections can be found from Lot-269 through Lot-322.

Condition

Over all in EXCELLENT condition, with normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dent. Surface traced wear and or declined to gilding. Normal, considering ages and wears.
