RARE Pair of 19th Century Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain bowls, Finely potted in a shape of a simply bowl deep vessels, the rounded cavetto gently rising the sides toward the flat rim, raised upon a concaved foot base. The exterior delicately decorated in famille rose hand painting of colorful dragons amidst rococo floral foliate, all sets over a pale-green underglazed ground. Banded with gilt over glazed fine ring on the outer rim. The interior and base remain white underglazed.
Mark on base, an underglazed four iron-red script -KaiShu- characters, Shen De Tang Zhi, "Hall of Prudent Virtue", (DaoGuang Reign Period)
