Ming Dynasty Chinese porcelain bowl finely potted unto a deep reversal bell shape body. The round cavetto everted steep sides leading to slightly fared rim, raised on foot ring base. The exterior boldly hand painted with under glazed cobalt blue depicting enormous imperial five-claw dragons borne above iron-red under glazed wavy LiShui water diaper. Bordered with band of cobalt blue key fret patterns under the rim. The central interior showing a medallion painting with similar dragon design.

Mark on base, six blue script -KaiShu- Characters, enclosed by double square lines, XuanDe Reign Period of Great Ming.

Dimensions: 4-3/8" H x 6-1/8" Dia.
