19TH/20TH C FINE CARVED ZITAN DRAGON CHINESE HORSESHOE FOLDING CHAIR.
Having the woven mat, above shaped, beaded aprons and spandrels carved in the front with a conjoined scrolling clouds with sweeping shaped crest rail terminating in out double dragons heads holding a flaming pearl inside its mouth, gracefully curved standing stiles, and the rear posts flanked to the wide rectangular splat characterized with richly decorated of deep carving masterpiece depicted imperial dragons soaring amidst the scrolling clouds. Raised on cabriole legs joined by stepped stretchers with brass covered steep. The Zitan shows dense wood with smooth purplish patina, dense hardwood, with shimmering feathery fine grains.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition. Some stress of wear. Natural wood imperfection, wood joint mark, minor scratches and dents. Normal consider ages and wears.
