Large early Ming Dynasty red and white Chinese porcelain charger. Thick potted with shallow vessel with a petal-barbed rim, wealthy decorated in deep brownish-red and white hand painting of peonies blooms and its scrolling tendrils motif, banded with scrolling foliage patterns. Underglaze red are stable with subtle shades. The underside base with pale-creme unglazed and burnt orange spots in the firing.
Provenance: from estate property in Aventura, North Beach Miami, FL.
