Lot 0074
SN 249737, MFG 1943, 18" barrel with fair to good bore. Retains about 60% parkerized finish and should clean to a higher grade. Very good original stocks. Folding skeletal butt stock has original leather pad. Action works and has nice markings. The M1A1 carbine was adopted in May 1942 specifically for use of American Airborne troops. Inland was the only original maker and produced 140,591 during World War II. This is a very nice example. Very Good*
