Gus Grissom "Memorial" Sterling Silver Charm Bracelet
An important bracelet that chronicles Grissom's career with NASA. In addition to five different "normal" charms (including charms for Apollo, Apollo 11, NASA, etc.), there are three "charms" that are of major importance. These include a FLOWN 1961 dime (10c U. S. coin) that was carried onboard MR-4 (The coin is in a bezel and attached to the bracelet along with a dime-sized silver disc that is engraved "Liberty Bell 7" on one side and "21 July 1961" on the other), a FLOWN GT-3 medallion with the date "March 23, 1965" engraved on the reverse and an Apollo 1 Robbins medallion (unflown). These three "charms" are worth the price of admission. All are extremely scarce and are only occasionally available separately. To find them together, and with the provenance of the Grissom Estate is a virtually unique occasion. Don't miss out. Ex. The Gus Grissom Estate collection.
