As a painter on the forefront of the California Style School of painting, he was known for his urban and landscape paintings, as well as his graphic design work in the Hollywood film industry. He has won widespread critical acclaim and his works are included in over 50 public and private collections worldwide, including Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Brooklyn Museum; deYoung Museum and Art Institute, Chicago."From the Estate of Anita Jaffe, wife of Leo Jaffe who ran Columbia Pictures, the motion picture studio, in the 1960s and 1970s until his retirement in 1981.He remained at Columbia until his death in 1997.Anita Jaffe passed away in 2017.Watercolor is 22" x 29" , frame is 30"x 37".
