  • Additional Info: The totemic priest used this slot for sealing his granary. Dogon door locks are passed from generation to generation, because each lock a message, person, myth, or symbolizes a story of some sort. Wood, dark brown patina, surmounted by a two finely sliced ancestor figures. The lock is cut with serrated and linear decor, complete with cross. Slight traces of wear. All part are still together, it is complete.
