  • Ricci was an Italian painter of the late Baroque school in Venice. He was an elder contemporary of Tiepolo, he represents a later version of the vigorous fresco painting. This drawing is probably done in Turin where he fled with his mistress in 1688. Very gorgeous detail of pastoral scene. Signed, Provenance: Swan Auction Gallery, New York.
