Probably first-second state. Carracci was an Italian painter active in Bologna and later Rome. He along with his brothers was the founder of the strand of the Baroque style from both the north and south of Bologna. It was classical monumentality with more vital dynamism. His paintings are found in the Palazzo Farnese in Rome and elsewhere. Excellent engraving. Provenance. Private collector in Rome.
