FREE-BLOWN AND DECORATED TANKARD, opaque white with polychrome-enamel decoration, depicting a Colonial-era man and woman walking in a garden, applied opaque white handle, ground pontil mark. Probably Bohemian. Fourth quarter 18th century. 6 1/2" H.
Discolored hairline crack to the underside of the base curving towards and slightly into the body, possibly as made and with no affect on the resonance, otherwise undamaged.
