CZECHOSLOVAKIA, LATE 19TH CENTURY A fine Moser gilt enameled and jeweled cranberry glass vase. Of basket form the vase sits on a flared foot with clear ruffled edge rising into a tapered then flared body with a pinched and ruffled quatrefoil rim. The vase is adorned with freeform thorned vine handles terminating onto the body with enameled foliage and opalescent jeweled berries. The underside bears a ground and polished pontil.


Measures 7 1/8" tall, 8" wide handle to handle.

Condition

Minor wear to gilt decoration, otherwise good original condition.
