Description
An Egyptian faience scaraboid in form of frog, New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, the body nicely carved, sans the head, and the base with a sistrum handle with head of the goddess Hathor flanked by cobras. Dimensions: 15 x 10 mm. Holed lengthwise for suspension and a nice example! Ex collection of J.D.R Fryer, UK.
