An Egyptian steatite scarab depicting Anubis, New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, the legs well-formed and the base depicting Anubis as the guardian of the Necropolis, a small seated deity before. Dimensions: 17 x 13mm. Holed lengthwise for suspension. Ex collection of J.D.R Fryer, UK.
