Description
A trio of small Egyptian steatite scarabs. Lot includes a New Kingdom example, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, depicting Harpokrates seated holding a scepter, (11 x 8 mm), and a pair of 2nd Intermediate types, c. 1750 - 1570 BC, the first with an ankh flanked by feathers; a winged solar disk below, (10.5 x 7 mm), and the second with an ankh within a pseudo-cartouche flanked by 'neb' signs, (11 x 8 mm). Each with longitudinal holes drilled for suspension. Ex collection of J.D.R Fryer, UK.
