A large Egyptian wooden figure, Middle Kingdom, c. 2061 - 1690 BC, from a model depicting a scene from everyday life, the male figure is seated, wearing a long kilt with lovely facial detail and a short wig. Well-preserved with much of the original pigments preserved beneath earthen deposits. H: 7 5/8 in (19.3 cm). Ex New Jersey estate.
