Late Period, 664-332 BC. A white glazed composition scarab with hieroglyphic text to the underside, part in a cartouche. 2.97 grams, 20mm (3/4"). Ex Gustave Mustaki collection; acquired from Egypt in 1948. The use of a cartouche indicates a royal name marked out as special. Many of the Mustaki collection items are in famous collections and museums including The British Museum.
