Manufactured 1919. Barrels are stamped "LC SMITH 12 GA IDEAL FULTON NEW YORK". The Ideal Grade was introduced in 1913 and continued production until 1950. Frame and plates are engraved with a simple oak leaf relief design and color case hardened. It was a quality O gun and the most reasonably priced hand engraved L.C. Smith and cost $37 when introduced in 1913. It competed directly with the Parker VH Grade and had final retail price in 1950 of $138. The barrels sport standard ejectors with a raised matte rib, single bead, and have been beautifully restored to near new condition with mirror bores. The engraved trigger guard retains approximately 70% original blue. Frame retains approximately 70% original case colors, some brilliant. Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal and have razor sharp checkering with black composite pistol grip cap and buttplate. Has a splinter forearm with ebony tip and L.C. Smith release; checkering does show some wear. Lock-up is tight as new.Accessories: NoneBarrel Length: 30"Chamber: 2 - 3/4"Choke: Full ModifiedFFL Status: Curio & RelicGauge: 12Length Of Pull: 14"Manufacturer: L.C.
