East Asia, China, Han Dynasty, ca. 206 BCE to 220 CE. A lovely wheel-thrown grayware terracotta vessel with a slight concave base, wide sides, angled shoulders, a wide neck, and a flared rim. The exterior of the vessel displays a light-gray coloration, and the exterior shows evidence of the light-orange terracotta beneath. Size: 7.125" H (18.1 cm).
