Hart (1864-1946) was for movie fans a cherished symbol of the romantic Old West. His silent westerns offered excitement, lessons in righteous behavior, and a nostalgic vision of the American frontier. This copy is inscribed by Hart to noted Western artist Clarence Ellsworth on the front flyleaf. Donated by johnson rare books & archives, Covina, CA.

Condition: Light fading along the extremities of the boards. Some general browning and mild shelfwear to the dust jacket; otherwise very good. Item number: 270062
