'Qantaq' for Potlatch gathering, Kuskokwim River region, early 20th c., oval in shape, a woman's bowl with separate bentwood rim, the base made from one piece of pine, the sides painted Uiteraq or red ochre outside and with lobes on inside. Family symbol on underside. 5" x 17 1/2" x 11 1/2". Very good condition.
