Qianlong Period Chinese Export Polychrome Armorial Plate, ca. 1791, bearing the Arms of Orange and Prussia, decorated in the Neoclassical taste with gilded rim and scroll border, from a 1450-piece dinner service presented to Prince William V of Orange and his consort, Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia by Ulrich Galtherus Hemmingson (1741-1799), a director of a Dutch owned porcelain factory in Canton; pieces from this service are held at the Museum of the Dutch Royal Family in the Hague and others are still in the possession of the Dutch Royal Family members, 11 1/4" diam.
