18th c. Mahogany Tall Clock with bombe bonnet and base, topped by a (later) brass American eagle, flanked by brass urns on plinths, the arched top having filigreed fabric backed fascia, the center case with canted corners, string inlaid molded door with tulip inlay and brass filigree port, the lower bombe cabinet with medallion marquetry inlay. Brass 8-day time and strike movement, original pendulum and weights, calendar and moon phase wheel, gilt spandrels, 102 1/4" tall, 25" x 11". Damage to bonnet filigree, not observed running. Old handwritten label indicates this was owned by the Bolles family of 305 Commonwealth Ave, Boston.
