Description
A large Egyptian green glazed faience amulet of Pataikos, Late Period, c. 664 – 30 BC, depicted nude and standing on integral base in the characteristic guise of a nude dwarf, wearing close-fitting skull cap and hands on his hips. Wonderfully detailed with good style and well-preserved surfaces. H: 2 in (5.1cm). Ex North Carolina private estate.
