Warhol created his very own American myth with this selection, which interconnects Superman, Dracula, Howdy Doody, Mammy, Mickey Mouse, Santa Claus, Uncle Sam, the witch from the Wizard of Oz, Greta Garbo and Andy Warhol as the character The Shadow.
