Black and white photograph, image size 9 1/4 x 12 3/4 inches, hand signed and titled in ink. Called the "Ansel Adams of Cape Cod," Gregory was born in Brooklyn, NY and studied at the Art Students League with John Sloan. In the early 1930s he moved to Provincetown, MA and started his photography business, becoming well-known for his Cape Cod landscapes and portraits of the local people.
