Southeast Asia, Cambodia, Khmer Empire (Angkor culture), ca. 12th to 13th century CE. A beautiful deep brown glazed jar with an incised, combed scallop pattern around the neck and carved concentric circles on the shoulder. The body of the vessel is a flattened sphere, with a tiny mouth and rolled rim. Size: 5.7" W x 3.5" H (14.5 cm x 8.9 cm)
