A nice Chupicuaro standing male figure, Mexico, c. 500 - 100 BC, with tall angular head and slightly bent knees. He wears large ear spools and a wide collar, lovely mottled deposits over creme slip with remnants of cinnabar paint. H: 3 ½ in (8.9 cm). Ex Southern California private collection, acquired in the 1970’s.
