A Victorian 18ct gold diamond single ring. The old-cut diamond, inset to the tapered band. Estimated diamond weight 1.40cts, tinted colour, P1-P2 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1895. Ring size O1/2. Weight 12.5gms.

Condition

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band slightly out of shape.
  • Significant inclusions affect the passage of light through the stones.

  • Individual size and setting of diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamond have chips on girdle.
