Two gem-set rings. To include a mid Victorian memorial ring, designed as a cushion-shape ruby and circular opal cabochon cluster with circular-shape green-gem sides and engraved textured shoulders, together with an 18ct gold oval-shape sapphire and single-cut diamond cluster ring. AF. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. One with hallmarks for 18ct gold. Total weight 5.6gms.

Condition

  • Overall condition poor. Significant scratches/wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Victorian ring band split.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Victorian ring stones in fair to poor condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Two opals chipped, green gems heavily abraded.
  • Sapphire in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Length of ring heads 1 and 1.1cms.
