Walt Whitman's Blue Book. Walt Whitman. Published by New York Public Library, 1968. Binding: Hardcover. Book Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: No Jacket. Edition: Special Edition. This is the New York Public Library 1968 two-volume publication of "Walt Whitman's Blue Book" (456 + 428 pages), in the original slipcase, which is slightly sunned, but structurally sound, with no tears or notable fade to the art or lettering. The only extraneous elements to the books themselves are the nameplates of a previous owner, glued to the front inside covers. There are no other stamps or attachments, no writing or notations. The covers, blue cloth backgrounds with gold lettering to the spines, are clean and unfaded, with no stains, tears or other flaws. The insides are uniformly clean, with all lettering, all art, including all facsimiles, in fine condition. The bindings are tight, with no loose or missing pages. There are no page tears or creases.
