Lot 0147
Gorham sterling silver tea bell, no monogram nor monogram removal. Bell is approximately 3 3/4 inches tall and has early Gorham lion, anchor and "G" logo, circa 1880. This bell is all silver and has a beautiful ring to it. Silver is not a good bell metal and I am told that it takes a good silversmith to get silver to ring. The little decoration on this bell seems to be from the aesthetic movement, wrapped silver wire around the end of the bell's handle.
