4 strips of original comic art in pencil and ink on semi-stiff card stock. 17x47 cm (7x22.5"). Includes:




  • Two strips of R.M. Brinkerhoff's "Little Mary Mixup," with a total of 7 panels. 1954.


  • Two strips of Harry O'Neill's "Bronco Billy, " with a total of 7 panels. 1946.



"Little Mary Mixup was Robert Moore Brinkerhoff's first and only comic strip, created in 1917. The comic endured and evolved over the years; by wartime, Little Mary had grown up and even joined the fight against the Nazis. Harry O'Neill's strip began as Young Buffalo Bill in 1928, and ran until 1950.

Condition

General light wear with some toning and light edgewear, margins with some finger soiling, light dampstaining, and minor pen and pencil notations; all pieces very good.
