The classic reference work on ornamental design in architecture and the decorative arts. This is the best and most complete of many such works produced out of the growth of the Arts and Crafts movements of Victorian England. With plate legends in English, French, and German.


Some wear to binding with rubbing to extremities; front hinge cracked and reinforced with tape, title page and the following two leaves detached together and laid in, a number of other plates detached or nearly so, as is common, but all present with bright colors; good or better.
