  • "Save Freedom of Speech: Buy War Bonds" (showing a common man standing up and voicing his concerns at a town meeting). OWI Poster No. 44.


  • "Freedom from Want: Ours... to fight for" (showing a thanksgiving dinner at the family table). OWI Poster No. 45.


  • "Freedom from Fear: Ours... to fight for" (showing a couple tucking two children into bed). OWI Poster No. 44.



    On sheets 101x72 cm (39¾x28¼ ").



Classic patriotic scenes, the series of "Four Freedoms" that Rockwell produced for four consecutive covers of the Saturday Evening Post. Rockwell had been inspired by FDR's 1943 Address to Congress. The extremely effective works toured the United States and raised more than $130 million for the war effort.

Condition

Some wear at folds with several sizable splits, a few other tears, several wormholes; good condition, sold as is.
