    This is a lot of 6 small jewelry caskets & boxes, all with hinged lids. The first is a Victorian box in the shape of a heart and with the batting still inside, measuring 2 in. by 1 3/4 in. by 1 3/4 in, ca 1890. Next is an oblong casket measuring 3 1/4 in. by 2 1/2 in. by 2 7/8 in., signed "Trade Mark J.B. Signifies the Best" on the base, felt-lined in the bottom, ca 1890. The third box is 2 1/8 in. by 2 1/8 in. square by 1 3/4 in. tall, velvet lined, the number "71" stamped inside the lid and on the base, ca 1910. The fourth is 2 3/4 in. by 2 in. by 1 5/8 in, has an etched glass lid and glass sides, a mirrored bottom, unsigned, ca 1950. The fifth box is an octagonal, reticulated cricket box, with handle and latch, probably made in Asia but unmarked, 3 in. by 3 in. by 2 1/2 in., ca 1960s. The last box is a Deco Style rectangle, which may have originally been for cigarettes, 4 5/8 in. by 3 3/8 in. by 1 7/8, unmarked, ca 1930s.
