Late 19th/early 20th century
Rectangular with serpentine front, the double-hinged lid with gilt metal molding and gilt metal and faux-Boulle inlay reserves, further designed with gilt metal lock opening to reveal a rack with four removeable decanters (7.875" H x 2.75" W x 2.75" D) and two dual-tiered racks holding a total of sixteen cordials (2.75" H x 1.625" Dia.)
Overall: 10.25" H x 12.75" W x 9.625" D

Condition

Overall good condition with normal signs of wear including losses and shrinkage cracks to wood and nicks and chips to glass commensurate with age and use. Nearly all cordials with scattered nicks and chips, especially to bases. One cordial cracked through. The tiered cordial holders have been re-glued in several places.
