This is the Galerie Engelberts 1969 publication, limited to 1500 copies, of "Jean Fautrier, Oeuvre Gravé, Oeuvre Sculpté" with an essay of a catalogue raisonné by Engelberts, and with photography by Hyde (Paris) and Mercier (Geneva). All text is in french. The cover (app. 6.375" x 9.125"), stiff board with a marbled green surface, has surface and edge wear, including bumped corners, but no prominent tears. The lettering is faded but legible on the spine; that to the front cover, is only slightly faded and clearly legible. The only writing is the book is the name Steve Lacy (the sax player/ composer), whose copy this was, with the notation Paris '69 below that name. There are no stamps or other attachments. The binding is secure, with no loose or missing pages. There are no page tears and only shallow edge creases. Most pages have no creases. Many pages borders are lightly sunned.
