Three Salado Culture Native American Pottery Vessels. Tonto Basin, AZ. Utilitarian ware. Circa ~1200 AD. Two ollas and one unusual flaring necked jar with mirrored pedestal. Largest is 7.25" height and smallest is 4.5" h. Condition: Rough clay construction for ancient utilitarian use. Some clay loss, crack, and chips appropriate to ancient use. This lot is from the Florida Estate of J.J. Schmidt Jr. and was acquired prior to 1970. All age referred to in the description is the opinion of the gallery and based on our research.
