    Rare Viking Period Traveler's ring. The ring is composed of oval shaped band with large applied bezel.The bezel depicts stylized mountains. In the medieval period people worn rings as talisman which can protect them from black spirits and dark magic during their journeys. The travelers' rings usually depicts mountains, forests or waves and were often worn by warriors. Great Artifact in wearable condition.
