Central Asia, ca. 1st millennium BCE. A long, flat, cast bronze sword with three slightly raised midribs running down its center line. A short, narrow tang rises from the top of the blade. This sword would have once had a handle made of ivory, bone, or cast bronze. Size: 19" L x 1.65" W (48.3 cm x 4.2 cm)
