Pre-Columbian, Ecuador, Jamacoaque culture, ca. 500 CE. A wonderful clay mold of a standing highly decorated figure (a resulting molded form to the right) donning elaborate ear and face ornaments as well as an impressive pectoral. A fascinating glimpse into an ancient technology. Custom stand. Size: mold measures 3" W x 4.875" H (7.6 cm x 12.4 cm); 5.625" H (14.3 cm) on included custom stand.
