Large grouping of vintage iridescent favrile glass prisms attr. Tiffany Studios. Each prism is composed with a faceted face and flat back, is rounded to one end, and finished with a spear end to the top where there is a hole meant for wire for hanging. This particular style of iridescent glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and would have been used to accent candle sticks, sconces, and chandeliers. With original 1960Â’s newspaper wrappings. Approx 51 prisms. Dimensions: H 8" x W 1" x D .5" Condition: Varying degrees of wear and losses. Some with cracks, chips, and rough edges.


Items in this sale are located at our Westport, CT Gallery location for preview and pickup. 90% of the items in this sale are the Estate property of the Brothers Arthur & Joe Robinson of Harrison, NY Both who dealt in numerous large Tiffany collections as well as items that were removed from Laurelton Hall. This sale is comprised of many shades, parts, pieces, lamps, etc. that they collected/hoarded over many years. Also included are steuben & quezal shades. Previews for the auction are Monday March 19th through Sunday March 25th 9am-5pm . Pickups for this sale will be Monday March 26th through Friday April 6th 9am-5pm weekdays only. We are not open at the Gallery on the weekends, unless there is an auction.
